The Simpsons Trying For World Record
In its 23rd season, “The Simpsons” looks to break another world record. On February 8, “The Simpsons” superfans will come together in Los Angeles at Hollywood & Highland for the “Ultimate Fan Marathon Challenge”. Fans will come together for this challenge to watch every episode of “The Simpsons”. The 500th episode will air on Sunday, February 19th and end the competition. The winner will take home over $10,000 and “The Simpsons” special merchandise.
The current Guinness World Record for longest continuous TV viewing is 86 hours, 6 minutes and 41 seconds. This marathon looks to top that record. “The Simpsons” currently hold several records including longest running animated series, longest running sitcom and most Emmy Awards won for an animated series.
